Last week was such a blast.
A high point was going to Amy Weinstein's photo club's show at the Firehouse Gallery with Abi and friends from the Wisdom Course.
The theme for the show was The Koans of Seeing. I first heard the word koan in the est training in 1975: "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" Sayings to mull over and expand your mind. I've had a lot of time to consider. For me the image that always comes up for the sound of one hand clapping is a room of deaf people signing clapping, which is beautiful.
This show challenged the photographers (artists?) to illustrate four koans.
One wall, straight in, was dedicated to Amy Weinstein's photos, to which my little pix do not do justice. Check out the exhibit yourself--Firehouse Gallery in Longmont, Colorado.

One room was dedicated to the work of a member who passed away before the show, but we were able to share his vision.
