Backtracking through the Back Country

Oldest Working Train Station in US
Train tracks stitch the borders of Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, including Harper's Ferry (water but no boat), Cumberland Gap and the Mason-Dixon line.

The rivers here are honest to gosh rivers, and flowing high at that.  While Iowa seemed green, here it is lush.  The flowering azaleas and dogwoods, sweet william and even dandelions seem to have been dosed with MiracleGro.

Brother Chuck picked us up at the station as we pulled in an hour late, drove us through downtown Pittsburgh at the midnight hour.  Jesse liked the neon Heinz ketchup bottle pouring out its contents.  Maybe we'll get down to the Heinz museum while we're here.
