"Make a Joyful Noise"

My house is decorated with pumpkins and fall foliage, the Christmas decorations in mind but out of sight, resolutely, until Thanksgiving has had its due.

In November the choir starts working on Thanksgiving and Christmas music.  Music is another matter.  This Sunday the Wesley Anns, a women's choir I've joined recently, sang, "Make a Joyful Noise!" and I have found myself humming the words and the tune.

Several articles I've read recently have extolled the virtues of group singing. Here's one: "Singing Changes Your Brain."   Group singing lowers stress, relieves anxiety and releases endorphins.  Cost effective, too.
