Spring Cleaning

Cross withe empty tomb
Last time I wrote we hadn't finished the stewardship campaign at Heart of Longmont, nor celebrated Christmas, nor taken a little road trip to Vegas, nor started working on the play for Holy Week (dress rehearsal tomorrow).  I haven't shared my delight in my grandchildren, nor my aggravation with the villain that despite my efforts was sworn in as President. Nor Jesse's success with walking a mile three times a week.

I've ordered Easter lilies and started cleaning closets and cupboards. Christmas decorations returned to the shed, with some help.  I bought a new mint-green outfit, a sweet little mint-green leather purse and a box of good chocolates. Jesse picked a matching shirt and a white fedora. I'm looking forward to Easter's glorious music. I crawled out of winter into a yard full of flowers.

New Year's should be celebrated in April.
